欢迎参加第二届BNU试验科学锦标赛

        2009年9月27日至11月4日，我们系统科学系在法国巴黎大学的访问学者Bertrand Roehner教授的号召和带领下举行了第一届“BNU试验科学锦标赛”。比赛一经推出后，就引起了学生们的广泛兴趣，先后有8个组，共22名同学报名参加了比赛，其中还包括两名心理学院的同学。比赛共决出两组优胜奖。 今年9月22日至11月10日期间，我们将举办第2届“BNU试验科学锦标赛”。这次比赛，我们扩大了范围，一共有14个非常有趣的题目（7个物理学，7个社会科学）任同学选择。我们对参赛对象没有任何限制，可以是本科生、研究生，甚至是老师，大家可以以2~5个人的小组形式参赛。比赛获胜小组将有机会获得丰盛的奖品。 本周三（2010年9月15日）下午，将举办一次专题讲座。首先，Roehner教授将给我们带来有关试验科学的专题讲座，其次，张江老师将对比赛的规则、具体操作办法以及奖励办法进行介绍，欢迎各位老师、同学踊跃报名参加。 下面是Roehner教授讲座的具体信息： Title: Second BNU Championship in Experimental Science Abstract: This Championship is open to everybody who wishes to take part, whether undergraduate, graduate or faculty member. First, its organization will be outlined. Then, in a second part, I will give specific explanations for 3 of the 14 research-topics which are proposed, namely: (i) Influence of the rotation of the Earth on ultra-slow falling objects (ii) Investigation of the behavior of ants and fishes in situations of emergency.(iii) Exploration of historical events by using population pyramids.
